I Am A Programmer

by Major Geek on March 22, 2009

I am a Programmer

How many times have you had to define what you do on a daily basis to family and friends and quickly realized that describing what you do would be a waste of time. Coding is Java, .Net or PHP are all concepts that are foreign to most people. We usually mumble ‘I work with computers’. But that is not really true. Worse, it invites requests to fix people’s computers.

The I am A Programmer portable job description will save you time. Time from explaining what you do and time from fixing other peoples computers.  You can simply point to the text and let them read it.

I am a Programmer.  I work for days with little or no sleep.  I am always evolving my knowledge.  I translate theories into reality.  I code in many languages.  I tirelessly test the complex so you see just simplicity.

If that doesn’t sum up the life of I developer I must have missed the first formative years of my life.   Be a geek and wear one of these great t-shirts to proudly show off what your job description is.  I am a Programmer!

Take a peek at just three of the many t-shirts and gifts that the I am a Programmer section has to offer:

How do Physicists Count Sheep?

by Major Geek on February 24, 2009

Physicists Count Sheep

How do Physicists Count Sheep? Not by the boringly normal one two three. They include equations of course! This physicist counts sheep by measuring how how each sheep jumps.  As each sheep jumps a true physicist quickly calculates the height each sheep jumps.  The boring one two three was for grade school.  Get a laugh, a weird look and enjoy and inner chuckle all at the same time.

Take a peek at just three of the many t-shirts and gifts that the Physicists Count Sheep has to offer:

Old Mathematicians Never Die

by Major Geek on January 13, 2009

Old Mathematicians Field

Old mathematicians never die; they just pass into another field. A hilarious pun on old math geeks and what happens when they die. This is the perfect gift for the ageing geek.  I love math humour.  It stands the test of the time and always involves some type of ingenious play on words.  If you are looking to geek up your day or perhaps just plan on giving a gift to your young-at-heart math teacher or professor, this is an excellent idea.

Dragon Reader

by Major Geek on January 8, 2009

Dragon Reader

… of course, a dragon may hoard your books. They are, after all, a fine treasure. It is amazing what a small dragon has to do to pass its time. It you are not flying out to slay the knights you are at home curled up around a good book and disappearing into a far away land. Perhaps some humour or even a bit of fantasy is on tap tonight.

Take a peek at just three of the many book t-shirts and literary gifts that the Dragon Reader has to offer:
